MORE LIGHT, MORE SPEED
Based on feedback from runners, the smallest-capacity racing vest in the RUSH series is now available. With a new design that does not restrict arm movement and materials that reduce heat buildup even during intense activity, it is optimized for fast short races.
VEST WRAP DESIGN
The main body uses 1-way stretch mesh fabric. By suppressing vertical stretch, it reduces pack movement and enables a stress-free run. The high stretch also allows the pack capacity to expand or contract depending on the load.
BREATHABLE MONO MESH
Highly breathable mono mesh is used across the harness and the entire back panel that touches the body. It reduces heat buildup and supports comfortable running even in sweaty races or humid conditions.
Designed to fit your back
SHOULDER ADJUSTERS
The shoulder harness is designed to fit runners with various body types. It can be easily adjusted with Velcro for a stepless fit. Please use the stitching as a guide when adjusting.
SIDE ADJUSTERS
The side adjuster uses a 6-point bungee cord system, providing a secure, body-hugging hold with good breathability. The waist drawcord can be tightened with one hand, making it easy to adjust even while running.
CHEST STRAP & PGW TWIST LOCK
The chest strap uses a soft, flexible material for a gentle feel against the skin. Our original buckle, “PGW TWIST LOCK,” was developed to be easy to operate even when fatigued, while maintaining lightweight durability. Once you get used to it, it can be operated with one hand.
An intuitive pocket layout
POCKET LAYOUT
The pocket layout has been improved based on user feedback. It allows stress-free access while running and enables optimal packing according to how often each item is used.
BOTTLE POCKETS
The bottle pockets are optimized for soft flasks up to 600 ml and 500 ml PET bottles. A drawcord prevents them from falling out. An emergency whistle is attached on the right chest.
SNACK POCKETS
The lower pocket with a drawcord is ideal for storing nutrition or a smartphone. Compared to the previous model, the capacity has been increased and accessibility has been improved.
SIDE POCKETS
A zip pocket on the right side and a flap pocket on the left. Ideal for storing valuables used less often, a collapsible cup, or trash.
UPPER POCKET
The upper pocket is designed specifically for storing items such as a wind shell. Its position and depth allow easy one-handed access, so you can quickly retrieve items even while running.
SIDE POCKETS
The lower pocket has a slim design that does not interfere with body movement. It is ideal for storing essential items that are used less frequently, such as an emergency sheet.
HYDRATION POCKET
There is a pocket on the back for a hydration pack, with a hose port that routes over the shoulder. Storing a thin shell jacket or rain pants here can also act as cushioning between your back and the gear inside, making it more comfortable to carry.
DESIGNER'S VOICE
Since its launch in 2015, the RUSH series has continued to evolve by reflecting the voices of its users. Looking back over the past 11 years, we have created more than 40 models. Sometimes I even think to myself, “We’re really obsessed with development.”
But backpacks used in the demanding sport of trail running are endlessly fascinating as a design theme. The challenge is how to reduce both “physical stress,” such as shoulder pain, and “mental stress,” such as difficulty using the gear—and how to solve these problems in a way that is both stylish and rational.
To achieve this, we have listened to passionate feedback from many runners at races and events, and repeated countless prototypes and field tests. It is quiet, patient work. Not particularly glamorous, but this is the development style of Paago Works.
For this new generation of RUSH, many runners were again involved in the process, leading to a significant evolution. We want RUSH to be the ideal tool created by runners themselves. That idea is captured in the phrase “Designed by the Runners.”
