THE EXPLORER'S SWITCH
BUILT TO EXPLORE
Keeping the same functionality as the SWITCH, the SWITCH EXP uses the next-generation fabric ALUULA Graflyte® as its main material.
MAIN FABRIC
ALUULA Graflyte® also offers excellent waterproofness, abrasion resistance, and recyclability. It is extremely lightweight yet has outstanding strength. With the use of water-resistant zippers, the SWITCH provides even greater waterproof performance than the standard model. (The images below show the standard model.)
Switch how you use it depending on the scene
CHEST BAG
When used as a chest bag during activities, it distributes weight to the pack, reducing shoulder strain.
SHOULDER BAG
The included belt allows it to be used independently as a shoulder bag. It's handy for keeping valuables on you at campsites or mountain huts.
WAIST BAG
Adjust the length of the shoulder belt to use it as a waist bag.
SIDE POCKET
Utilize the SWITCH's back slit by threading the pack's waist belt through to use as side pockets.
OUTER POCKET
Can be attached to the side or front of the BUDDY series.
OUTER POCKET
You can increase the pack's capacity by using it as an outer pocket.
Thoughtfully designed pocket layout
MAIN ROOM
The main access opens and closes with double zippers, making it easy to see inside. Two organizer pockets, large and small, are convenient for storing small items.
TOP POCKET
The top pocket can hold frequently used valuables like smartphones. With its gusseted design, it can also accommodate bulky items like wallets.
BACK POCKET
The back pocket close to the body is convenient for temporary storage of items like smartphones and tickets.
GEAR LOOP
Attach accessories or small items to the side belt loops.

ALUULA is a new material developed by ALUULA in Canada. Its main feature is a process that fuses PE-based technical film with UHMW-PE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) fabric without the use of adhesives.
