Comfortable High Center of Gravity
ALK CONCEPT
All the BUDDY series has a inverted trapezoidal design with a higher center of gravity balance. By carrying your luggage in higher place of your body, you can feel comfortable with it.
ALK 30 FEATURE
The stabilizer belt is connected to the top flap and helps to balance the load. You can also roll a mat under the flap.
Pocket Layouts
FITTING
The main body has a wide opening so you can reach the items inside quickly when you put down the bag.
TOP STABILIZER
The top pocket, frequently accessed, features a zipper for easy opening and closing, with an inner mesh pocket included.
MAIN ACCESS
The front pocket can fit more than it looks and is suitable for storing outerwear and jackets.
BACK ACCESS
The side pockets have a large capacity and can be reached without putting down the bag. The opening can be adjusted with a drawcord.
TOP POCKET
The bottom pocket can be reached easily without putting down the bag. It is convenient for storing regular backpack covers sold in stores.

Detachable Parts

The detachable back panel is unique. Remove it and dry it while you are taking a break on your hike or wash it when you reach home.

The position of the hip belt can be adjusted using the velcro tape. You can also remove it from the backpack if you do not need it.

DESIGNER'S VOICE
When it comes to outdoor gear, it’s crucial that anyone can use it safely and easily. At the same time, I believe my mission is to create something no one’s ever seen before. That’s why Paago Works products are “rounded but edgy.”
The BUDDY, which launched this spring, is exactly that kind of backpack. At first glance, it has an authentic design with high versatility as a tool. But if you look closer, you’ll see that it’s unique in everything from its basic structure to its details. During development, we started with simple, straightforward prototypes, experimenting with a roll-top design and a back-side opening. In the end, we adopted the same "high center of gravity design" used in the RUSH28. This unique structure opens the pack wide on the body side and uses stabilizers to bring the center of gravity closer to the shoulder blades. On the material side, we focused on making it lightweight yet tough, with a texture that anyone can feel comfortable using. Plus, the storage capacity and accessibility have been improved compared to the RUSH28. It’s the perfect example of a backpack that’s “rounded but edgy.”
