What is the best answer for mountain gear today?

Light? Durable? Easy to use? Comfortable? Good-looking? Affordable?…Yes to all.

But is there gear that satisfies all of these at once? Probably not. Because the answer changes depending on the user and the environment.

We faced the many, often conflicting demands and set out to create what we believe is the “best answer” for the mountains. That’s how ZENN was born.

For the backpack, we redefined what it means to “carry” and to “store,” aiming to balance lightness and comfort.
For the shelter, we focused on “sleeping with peace of mind,” pursuing both weather resistance and minimal weight.

Breaking down and rebuilding every essential function of gear in this way was an incredibly exciting process for us as designers.
