UNIQUE

The main feature of the Cargo 55 lies in its unique loading method. With a large front panel and side belts, it securely holds items, making it possible to carry irregularly shaped tools. It's truly a modern version of a backpack carrier.

FLEXIBLE

Adjusting the side belts allows for flexible volume changes from 0 to 55 liters, accommodating heavy gear or light minimal setups.

Unlimited expandability.

INNER BAGS

All pockets, including the top lid, inner bag, and side pockets, are detachable. They can be freely customized according to usage. Includes a 15L zipper bag and a 30L roll-up bag, both seam-sealed for simplicity as dry bags.

SIDE POCKETS

Includes two zippered side pockets, each approximately 1.5 liters in size, attachable to cargo side belts.

BOTTLE POCKETS

Includes two bottle pockets. Sized to fit 1L Nalgene bottles. Attach to cargo side belts.

TOP LID

The large 10L top lid is detachable. It can also be used as a front bag using the chest belt.

Reliable back panel.

BACK PANEL

A lightweight aluminum frame and a firm foam-backed panel provide solid support for heavy loads.

DETACHABLE BACKPANEL

The unique detachable back panel allows for drying during breaks and washing for cleanliness after returning home.

Attention to detail.

MAIN FABRIC

Constructed with a durable fabric made of high-strength nylon yarn arranged in a grid pattern, enhanced with carbonite coating for excellent abrasion resistance and waterproofing.

HIP BELT

The hip pads are adjustable via Velcro for positioning and can be removed from the main body when not needed.

DESIGNER'S VOICE

I may be a bit eccentric, but I love "Frame pack".

During my student days, I carried my works to design school. I also climbed Mt. Fuji with friends carrying mountain bikes. When I first climbed the Northern Alps, I used a backpack too. You can pack anything and go anywhere. I love the freedom, much like a pickup truck.

So, when I started PAAGOWORKS, I developed the CARGO first.

In 2012, with the first CARGO 35, I put the slogan "Freedom in a backpack", and it was supported by some enthusiastic fans.

In 2014, we released the CARGO 40, responding to fans who wanted to use it more vigorously and changed it to a tough specification.

And the third generation, the CARGO 55, focused on "flexible storage capacity" during development.

The basic elements of a backpack are only "carrying" and "storing". the CARGO is characterized by the freedom of "storing". To further evolve this feature, we started with consideration of what to store. In prototypes, we tested vertical equipment, as well as storing MTBs, pack rafts, camera bags, tripods, and even garbage cans and new staff.

As a result of various trials, we made a significant structural change from the "side panel type" to the "front panel type," where the load is firmly supported by a lightweight aluminum frame and hard foam back panel. This method allows for a wide range of adjustments in capacity, making it possible to accommodate any irregularly shaped items. I think this realization achieved a level of freedom of use that can rival that of an aluminum backpack.

In the product version of the CARGO 55, many optional pockets are attached due to the circumstances of adults, but please try to use your imagination first in the simplest state. I think you'll find a way to use it that suits you.

Pack and go!
