Lightweight and compact

Lightweight

NINJA FIRESTAND is one of the lightest fire pits, weighing just 275g (body weight). It's a great companion for foot camping and bike packing, perfect for human-powered campers.

Compact

You can easily tuck it away in your backpack or bicycle frame bag, making it convenient to head out for a campfire adventure. (Storage size: 400×100×20mm)

Enjoy both bonfire and cooking

Rectangular fire pit

The rectangular firebed makes it easy to arrange firewood, enhancing heat concentration and oxygen supply, allowing for an enjoyable fire experience. Additionally, the two top bridges significantly improve cooking convenience. The pot stand also functions as tongs. By placing it across the top bridge, you can set a pot for cooking over the fire, and it can be used as tongs for adjusting the flames. The firebed features a durable stainless steel mesh that provides adequate ventilation for easy fire-starting. After use, simply rinse it with water for easy cleaning.

Improved Stability

By adding a bottom bridge, the rigidity has increased compared to the conventional NINJA FIRESTAND, raising the weight capacity to approximately 4kg. It's also easy to adjust its position according to the wind direction.

A hidden gem

Fire Blower

An incredibly minimal blowpipe. The silicone tube allows you to direct fresh air exactly where you need it. The stainless steel pipe also serves as a spare foot pipe for the fire pit.

Unparalleled simplicity

Simple Assembly

The design focuses on a simple structure, making assembly easy. Each part is made of rust-resistant stainless steel.

DESIGNER'S VOICE

“Camping is not the goal, but a means to an end.” I used to strongly believe that.

However, during the pandemic, my desire grew stronger: “Just camping would be great; I want to camp! I want to have a bonfire!” This led me to start developing the FIRESTAND SOLO. I’ve always loved the unique and simple design of the NINJA FIRESTAND, but it was never very good for cooking. So, while maintaining the concept of “lightweight and compact,” I aimed for a stable design that makes cooking easier, and began modifying the current model. The first prototype added a bottom bridge, significantly improving stability. I also changed the top bridge from a cross type to a parallel type to facilitate cooking. The square firebed was changed to a rectangle, making it easier to have a bonfire.

It sounds simple, but the prototyping and testing process was quite intense. During the day, I worked on prototypes in the studio, and at night, I tested them at the campsite. The next morning, I would go to work still smelling like a campfire, only to prototype again and head back to the campsite. My family would ask, “Dad, where are you sleeping tonight?” while my staff urged me to at least take a shower. For several months, I kept saying, “This isn’t just fun; it’s work!” After spending countless hours and beers, I finally arrived at a design that I’m satisfied with. Thus, The NINJA FIRESTAND SOLO, which is great for both bonfires and cooking, was born. The included tongs and blowpipe are also my proud creations.

In the end, I can’t blame anyone for saying this is “development for the purpose of camping.” I’m sorry for having such a fun job!
